- I am a teacher-learner with 11 years experience in high school English/Language Arts instruction. I earned a master’s degree in Instructional Technology at the University of Tennessee in 2008, and a PhD in 2013. My primary research interest is to understand what it means to be a teacher, or "lead learner," in a 21st-century educational context.
